Goals for 2008

Here are some things I am hoping to accomplish in 2008:
Read through the bible in a year - This year my family and I decided to read through the Bible using a One Year Bible. My siblings and I have never done this, and I am really excited. Although it is a real big commitment, we are still going strong.
Grow closer to God - I think this should be a goal for our whole lives. My Dad says that you can ALWAYS be closer to God. One way I am going to do this is by reading through the Bible in a year.
Become a better sister/daughter - No matter how it seems on the blog world, I am not perfect. I mess up a lot and am not the most patient person in the world. This year I hope and pray that I will learn to control my temper and have more patience and self control.
Finish the MANY projects I have started - I have many projects that still need to be finished, believe it or not. They include: knitting a scarf for my sister, finishing crocheting my baby blanket, finish sewing my three-tiered skirt, as well as others which I can't remember.
Work on my attitude - My attitude could use some work as well. This year I'm praying that God would help me to improve my attitude.
Make a cape - I am planning to use some of my Christmas money to make a Narnia-style cape. Mom said it shouldn't be too hard, and, while I still have to find a pattern, we found some deep reddish-purple fabric at Wal-Mart that would work.
Those are all the goals I can think of at the moment, but I will probably add more as the year goes on.
Oh, and I wanted to post a little note about my posting schedule...because of the busyness of the holidays, I have not been posting regularly on Tuesdays and Fridays, but hopefully now that things are calming down I can get back to normal.
Have a blessed year!
